ADVANCE Grant

The goal of the National Science Foundation's (NSF) ADVANCE program is to increase the representation and advancement of women in science and engineering, thereby aiding in the development of a more diverse engineering and science workforce.  In 2006, the NSF awarded the UA a $3.3 million five-year ADVANCE Institutional Transformation Award. After two no-cost extensions, the grant ended in 2013.  If you would like a copy of the final annual report, please email diversity@email.arizona.edu.

Listed below are some useful online resources related to excellence, equity, and diversity in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields, many of which were created by the UA's ADVANCE program.
