Diversity and Unconscious Bias in the Academy

The presentation is given by Laura Hunter, PhD, Associate Diversity Officer, Office for Diversity and Inclusive Excellence. She has conducted various research on academic careers, such as the impact of children on academic productivity and visibility (Hunter and Leahey 2010), the impact of gender on evaluations of scientific competence (Hunter 2010), and how specialization affects academic productivity and visibility (Leahey, Crocket, and Hunter 2008).
