Dr. MLK Jr. Celebration

The mission of the University of Arizona's Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration is to honor the legacy and the tenets set forth by Dr. King and his life examples of service and leadership. As a servant leader, Dr. King chose to commit his life to serve others. His leadership was grounded in supporting and expanding service for marginalized communities. Servant leadership exemplifies the Arizona Wildcat Community Core Values: integrity, compassion, exploration, adaptation, inclusion, and determination.

Throughout the week, the Office of Diversity and Inclusion celebrates the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with collaborations that explore MLK's vision for the United States, a week of service opportunities, and learning opportunities to explore inclusion and justice on campus.
