This summer we will be partnering with UA Study Abroad for our trip to Bali where we will explore Bali’s challenges through interaction with the island’s Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO’s).
DESCRIPTION
Through this 14-day program you will get a balanced perspective of life on the island of Bali. Students will be in non-traditional environments or “living classrooms” and have the opportunity to snorkel over a coral restoration site, speak with members of the Balinese royal family, and visit organizations that bring simple technologies to communities in need. Other service learning opportunities include hosting public health workshops, volunteering at blood drives and supporting pop-up health clinics.
