Finding Your Fellow Wildcats After Graduation

Aug. 5, 2016

Whether your post-college life takes you to Albuquerque or Atlanta, you’re never far from Wildcat nation.

Graduating from the University of Arizona means becoming part of the great big UA alumni family. And whether you’re relocating to a new city, job hunting or simply searching for the best place to catch a UA game with fellow Wildcats, connecting with the UA alumni network is easy.

Step 1: Identify Your Potential UA Clubs

UA alumni clubs are as diverse as the students who graduate from UA. From the American Indian Alumni Club and UA Black Alumni to the Veterans Alumni Club and Wildcat Pride – LGBTQA Alumni Club, it takes just a quick search on to find the groups you can connect with.

Step 2: Find the Chapter Closest to You

Not in Tucson? Not a problem. If you’re in San Francisco, connect with BayCats. Life take you to Chicago? Get hooked up with the WindyCityCats. No matter where you live, there’s likely an active UA alumni chapter nearby.

Step 3: Get Involved

Once you’ve joined the clubs and/or chapters you’re interested in, check out their Facebook pages and websites to get a sense of their programming and events. Contact the membership chair and find out how you can participate. Attend a game-watching party or volunteer your time. The more people you meet, the more friends you have the opportunity to make.
