Director, Training Initiatives

Earl E. Lee (they/them/theirs, he/him/his) is the Director of Training Initiatives. Earl works across the campus to advance inclusive excellence by coordinating campus-wide training, leads the Inclusive Leadership Certificate program and the Wildcat Unity Network. Also, they work with academic and administrative units to design training plans for faculty, staff, and students. Earl is a native of Jamaica and taps into their cultural upbringing to engage in collaborative and transformative projects that advocate justice, access, and equity in higher education. A current Ph.D. student at Arizona State University, their research seeks to understand the human and social dimensions of science and technology and its intersection with education equity and colonialism. Earl received their master's degree in adult education training from Regis University and a bachelor's in sociology from Drake University. In their free time, Earl enjoys playing volleyball, baking, traveling and learning from other cultures.
