This workshop explores some of the simplest and most affordable ways to transform your applicant pools for the better. By infusing respect and kindness into the selection process, leaders will create a stronger and more lasting network of strategic talent. In addition, they will set the foundation for a professional and supportive relationship that will last throughout an employee's tenure. Together, we will explore simple practices that all hiring teams should embed in their selection processes.
Lisa Gundy works in the Division of Human Resources overseeing recruitment and outreach. She’s been working as an HR professional for over 15 years with the last 6 years here at UArizona. She’s worked in both the public and private sector and her favorite HR work has always been tied to diversity and inclusion. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and a Master’s degree in Business Administration and holds 4 professional HR certifications. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, reading, gardening, and binge watching Netflix content.
