Land Acknowledgement
We respectfully acknowledge the University of Arizona is on the land and territories of Indigenous peoples. Today, Arizona is home to 22 federally recognized tribes, with Tucson being home to the O’odham and the Yaqui. Committed to diversity and inclusion, the University strives to build sustainable relationships with sovereign Native Nations and Indigenous communities through education offerings, partnerships, and community service.

Faculty & Staff Affinity Groups
The University of Arizona offers a number of inclusive affinity groups for both Faculty and Staff. Additionally, Faculty Affairs is home to inclusive faculty-only groups.
Community Advisory Council
The Community Advisory Council is an autonomous group of dedicated volunteer community leaders. Their primary mission is to foster cultural understanding and provide crucial support and advice during crises, where timely action is essential.
Bias Education & Support Team
The University of Arizona is committed to fostering a safe and inclusive environment for all members of our Wildcat community. We understand that members of our community may experience bias that makes them feel unsafe or unwelcome. When this happens, our institutional values call us to respond with integrity and compassion.
Office of Institutional Equity (OIE)
Our office advances the University of Arizona’s shared values of inclusion and equity and leads efforts to uphold policies that prohibit discriminatory conduct and treatment in our community.
Ombuds
The Ombuds Office serves all levels of UA faculty, staff, and students in all UA units and colleges who have a university-related concern.
