Sabrina Azemar-Butler, MS
Sabrina Azemar-Butler is a dedicated professional with a passion for community engagement and education. She is a first generation Haitian-American and college graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Tusculum College, a Master of Science in Clinical Research Administration from Walden University, and ongoing pursuit of a Doctor of Public Health degree at the University of Arizona, Sabrina combines academic excellence with a wealth of practical experience.
Over the past decade, Sabrina has honed her skills in community building, program development and implementation, and research, amassing ten years of experience in these domains. Her career has opened the door for opportunities to work with grassroots organizations, county community engagement plans, and university level research and community projects. Sabrina has created sustainable programs like Black Breastfeeding Groups, Cloth Diaper Banks, and Community Advisory committees. She has a passion for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion work, and has worked closely with companies nationwide develop strategies of engagement and policies that improve their relationship with the communities they serve and their employees. She has had the pleasure to lecture at the University on topics of intersections, addressing and communicating diversity, and community partner presentations.
Sabrina has brought her skills of community engagement to Arizona. She is a member of the Black Mamas Support Village Steering Committee, has presented at the The Coalition of Southern Arizona National Pan-Hellenic Council sororities and YWCA USA of Southern Arizona for hosting the BIPOC Maternal Forum: Reclaiming our Time annual event, is one of the leaders of the Sahuarita Ivy Wonderland Family Expo, and local RSL soccer coach for under 6. Sabrina Azemar-Butler stands as a catalyst for positive change in every community she serves at both internal and external levels.
