Dominique V. Calza (she/her/ella) currently serves as the Director for the Adalberto & Ana Guerrero Student Center at the University of Arizona where she supports the recruitment, retention, and community readiness of Latinx students. She received both her B.A in Psychology and her M.S in Mexican American Studies from the University of Arizona. Dominique is a community educator who has served students and families for the past 18 years in in the areas of mental and behavioral health, substance use and misuse, suicide prevention, sexual health, equitable education, and indigenous cultural awareness. Dominique is committed to the educational advancement and wholistic well-being of minoritized communities in these desert lands where she has lived and loved throughout her life. She likes to spend her time watching movies and going on road trips with her partner and their two kids.
