Kristen Godfrey

Kristen (they/she) is a first-generation college student and a university of Arizona alum where they hold a BA in history and anthropology. Kristen also received a master's in social work from the University of Tennessee. Kristen is currently the director of LGBTQ affairs. 

Kristen has worked alongside young people for nine years and has managed LGBTQ2S+ drop-in centers for youth and young people ages 12-24. They have created curriculum and facilitated trainings for the past seven years focusing on trans liberation and Black liberation. Kristen has also organized anti-oppression, community events including teach-ins and conferences. Kristen is a community organizer who believes in building a united front rooted in solidarity to fight for a better world. Kristen enjoys reading and hanging out with their mini wiener dog named Huey P and their sulcata tortoise named Leonard.
